After the interview, Jobi Adams and Brandi Foster, aka Pine & Fire, shared what the upcoming artwork would look like for their new album, Songs From the North Country. They’d found an antique postcard from the Iron Range and added their own spin, font, and design with it, making their own postcards and cover album artwork. Hearing this amount of care and intention behind the music only strengthened my appreciation of their songs. There’s benevolence in their spirit, willingness in their voice, and honesty behind their songs. It’s those little details and passion that goes into each song and story with Pine & Fire.
