Nat Harvie 'New Virginity' Album Release Show with Alan Sparhawk and Brent Penny at Turf Club

Simultaneously elegant and sardonic, Nat Harvie’s storytelling builds from nascent melodies into gleaming tomes of Queer Americana – shooting across their new album a dazzling arc of personal evolution and shared experience. A musical expression of memory, a restless vocalization of existence, Nat asks the questions: “What kind of person would I be if I never had to define anything about myself? How tough would it be if I had no claims to make about who or what I am?”

Thirty years into a career of music making, 2024 finds Alan Sparhawk entering uncharted territory. Sparhawk co-founded the band Low alongside vocalist and drummer Mimi Parker.

Brent Penny is a Chicago-based experimental singer-songwriter and musician crafting his personal take on pop. Penny’s sound is informed by various shoegaze, ambient, folk, and experimental components.
