Hollow Coves w/ Billianne at Fine Line
Hollow Coves is the indie-folk voice of connection to beauty and community — a reminder to look inside the self and embody gratitude for the natural world. Living on the Gold Coast and weaving their own perspective on paradise, Matt Carins and Ryan Henderson are equal parts songwriters and vocalists, alternating lead roles to best serve the song. As opposites that attract, Ryan's keen sense for detail as a classically trained pianist complements Matt's easy-going surfer approach. The yin-yang pairing of their personal polarities allows them to flip complex musings into poetic simplicities, evoking a palpable feeling of weightlessness.
Twenty-year-old Milton, ON-based singer-songwriter Billianne recently released her soaring debut single "No Wonder." After cutting her teeth on TikTok and Instagram, earning a following for her covers of Tina Turner's "The Best" and Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" and more — in addition to selling out her first headlining show in Port Dover and performing alongside Jann Arden on Toronto's Massey Hall stage — the young artist has taken on her first original recording of a string of new material to come.
