Weeping Covenant & Cassandra Johnson at Night Club

The Weeping Covenant will be joined by Cassandra Johnson, singing and playing acoustic guitar at Night Club Gallery, a 2,000-square-foot reverberant space, among paintings of plants and woven pieces by local artist Fidencio Fifield-Perez.

The Weeping Covenant is headed by vocalist and songwriter, Michael Beatrez. Writing from a lyrically driven perspective, he generally touches on themes of hope, vulnerability, and love. Beatrez leans into his comfortable sweet spot by singing over soft fingerstyle guitar ballads and rock songs that drive with measured intensity.

Cassandra is a singer/songwriter and self taught guitarist. She has blended her influences of indie, jazz, and soul into a cohesive sound all her own. She elevates her moving melodies and autobiographical lyrics with rich guitar arrangements so that every song feels like a little world unto itself. Cassandra is also plays lead guitar in local band Real Late Nites.
