Gabe Barnett & Them Rounders Single Release w/ Molly Brandt + Theo Langason at Icehouse

Minneapolis bar-stage stalwart Gabe Barnett, and the ever-evolving crew behind him, them Rounders, seamlessly merge the heartfelt, poetic narratives of a folksinger with the cool, swaggering performance of a jazz combo, and add enough punky spirit, experimental tones, and danceable grooves to keep their sound uniquely their own, accomplishing what so many artists struggle to capture in their creations: timelessness.

Molly Brandt is a singer-songwriter and country artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Molly Brandt’s music continues the tradition of Americana music through classic-sounding, twangy, and nostalgic earworms alongside her more indie and alternative country tracks that allow for self-questioning and introspection. Molly Brandt’s band brings sounds of alt country and classic rock of 1970s while presenting modern driving country rock hits, as well as tracks that present an enveloping and emotional wall-of-sound harmony vocals with the vibes of southern rock. Timeless, simple, yet impactful storytelling and lyrics alike, Molly Brandt hones-in on a distinctly modern sound that draws influences from many eras and styles while being distinctly her own.

Theo Langason is a multidisciplinary theatre artist, musician and teaching artist based in Minneapolis. A graduate of Rutgers University–Camden with a degree in Theatre Arts, Theo has been working nationally and internationally as an actor, director, musician, composer, improviser, poet, and teaching artist for over a decade. Theo is a co-artistic director of Red Eye Theater, a member of Sandbox Theatre, and a member of Blackout Improv. Theo was a recipient of a 2023 Cedar Commission from the Cedar Cultural Center.
