Russ Parrish & The Lone Oaks w/ Clayton Ryan and Thomas Sticha at Turf Club
Russ Parrish & The Lone Oaks aren't just a band, they're a riotous, rollicking, unpredictable musical adventure. Born out of a shared love for making music and an insatiable appetite for fun, this band has cultivated a unique atmosphere that involves everyone in the room.
There aren't many challenges of the music industry that Clayton Ryan hasn't met head on with his unique brand of angsty, twangy soul music. Raised in Iowa and South Dakota, his first successes in the industry came as a bassist and songwriter for Brandon Jones, opening for acts like Koe Wetzel, Jo Dee Messina, Flatland Cavalry, and Randy Houser. In the summer of 2022, his murder ballad "The Watchman of Spokane,” written for the duo Cottonwood Boys, was featured in American Songwriter Magazine, Americana Music Show, B Sides & Badlands, and South Dakota Public Broadcasting, and praised by both Grammy Award-Winning songwriter Marcus Hummon and William Fitzsimmons for its "compelling" and "emotional" songwriting.
Thomas Sticha is a songwriter and country/folk artist that knows how to tell a gosh-darn story. His debut single, “Then It’s Gone,” released in early 2024, and it’s sure to get stuck in your head. With his thoughtful songwriting and thoroughly charming live shows, his music comments beautifully on the triumphs and struggles of simply being human. Thomas performs frequently in and around the Midwest - both solo and with his band - and has plenty of aspirations for the years ahead.
