After releasing his self titled debut full length record in April 2020, Samuel J. DuBois stepped away from performing live to focus on his health and to reflect on things both personal and otherwise.

Having grown up in a small rural town, and being more introverted in nature, DuBois always turned to music and writing to make his voice or thoughts heard. Whether it was listening to music that he felt defined a mood or feeling, or playing music to anyone who would listen, DuBois made it a major part of his life, no matter who he disagreed with his passion for writing and performing and obsession for immersing himself in all things music.
