Annie Fitzgerald at the Aster Cafe

Singer-Songwriter Annie Fitzgerald’s music has been described as “a blend of Tori Amos’ intellectual appeal, Sarah McLachlan’s mystical charm and Edie Brickell’s baroque spirit” (Jamsphere). Since the release of her first EP in 2005, Annie has released two full length records, numerous singles, been honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame as an artist to watch, and was a part of the NYC indie scene before welcoming a move back to Minnesota with it a newfound sense of space to create. Her single "Anam Cara" released in February 2023 was highlighted by the Current's Song of the day and the Scouting Report, as well as Mpls St. Paul Magazine. Annie & her trio (Matt Patrick, David Gerald Sutton) will be celebrating the release of a new single “I’ll Wait Here”.
