Guitar Summer at 331 Club hosted by The Mikkel Factory, featuring Adam Kiesling.

Mikkel on his new series: “The summer ‘Rezo City’ resonator guitar series I’ve been hosting the last 4 years has grown into a more sophisticated American Primitive/Rezo thingy I’m calling guitar summer. Great players from around the region will join me on some Sunday afternoons throughout the summer forgreat performances. Free for your enjoyment.”

Adam Kiesling (guitar, banjo, and vocals) got his start playing old-time and jug band music in the late 90s, played for local clogging group The Wild Goose Chase Cloggers and old time trio the Mill City Grinders, then spent four years as an upright bass player for Pert Near Sandstone. His main gig outside of solo shows is with Corpse Reviver, a Minneapolis-based trio that primarily focuses on the music found on Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music.

Mikkel Beckmen (washboard, wooden tray, and stomp box) has been a fixture on the Twin Cities scene for a number of years; some of the folks he's played with include the Brass Kings, Charlie Parr, and Lonesome Dan Kase & the Crush Collision Trio.
