This is the official afterparty for night one of the annual Winter String Band Gathering at The Cedar Cultural Center.
Brothers from Excelsior MN, Mitch and Brandon Johnson are bluegrass guitar players. The brothers co-founded theband "Kind Country" as the two original guitarists. They toured nationally together in Kind Country until the fall of 2018. The Johnson Brothers have also played in numerous other Twin Cities bands and side projects over the years. Recently in the spring of 2021 the brothers began playing shows under the name "The Johnson Brothers". Each show features a rotating cast of high caliber bluegrass musicians.
Attendees of the show at the Cedar get in for free. Otherwise it is a $10 ticket price.
