Coolidge Reunion Show at Aster Cafe

After a little more than a decade-long break from playing, Coolidge announces their triumphant return to the stage and reintroduces their original brand of alt-country and Americana rock to the Twin Cities. Coolidge is Matty O’Reilly (lead vocals, guitar), Brock Guettler (bass, vocals), Steve Proper (lead guitar, vocals) and Cliff Ovadia (drums). This outfit has released two full length albums (Was it My Drinkin’ in 1998 and Me and the Bottle in 2004, both found frequently in used CD stores everywhere). The band currently holds the record for Most Bottles of Beers Consumed during a two hour live performance (84), a record that should have never been allowed in the first place nor legally safe to be surpassed or broken.
