Dan Israel Album Release w/ St. Dominic's Trio at the Hook and Ladder Theater

Acclaimed Minnesota singer-songwriter Dan Israel returns to the Mission Room for a release party for his latest album Seriously.

Dan Israel wants you to hear his new music – Seriously.  

Dan and his core band, drummer David J. Russ, bassist Mike Lane, and ace guitar wizard Steve Brantseg (Suburbs, Bash and Pop, Phones) went up to the Iron Range to Rich Mattson’s Sparta Sound studio in 2021 to lay down basic tracks, augmented by guest appearances from John Eller and Peter J. Sands (keys) and Katie Gearty and Colleen Martin-Oake (vocals).

Seriously, Dan’s 17th studio release, offers up pointed and poignant commentary for troubled times, with hooks aplenty and some new and surprising turns and twists.

Dan’s pals, the always entertaining St. Dominic’s Trio (featuring Terry Walsh and other members of The Belfast Cowboys), kick off the party with rowdy versions of Van Morrison songs along with other rock gems from a wide-variety of artists.
