Pit Stop, Tommy Goodroad, Filthy Kittens, & The Envies at 7th Street Entry

Minneapolis’s own Pit Stop is currently working on their sophomore album that they plan to release in 2024. Deviating from the country-influenced tracks of their first record, the new material finds the band wandering down and wildly oscillating between beaten-up paths of rock eras past, in search of a trail all their own.

Chicago-based and Minnesota-raised, Tommy Goodroad began releasing music in 2021 and has been playing shows around the country since. His band, “solid as a Minnesota pond in February” (Glide Magazine), assisted on a string of recent singles including “Teaching Me to Paint” and “Keep ‘Er Moving.”

Filthy Kittens is a Twin Cities-based band that originally formed in 2022 and quickly assembled an album of folk rock-leaning songs about love, small towns, childhood, and light politics. Their 2024 release and current live sets dip into a broader stylistic spectrum while maintaining a throughline of cello-woven pop rock.

Formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Envies are a band consisting of Ty Phelps, Cody Benecasa, Jesse River, and Nate McConnell. They carve out a niche for themselves through efficient, melody-first songwriting, and thoughtful lyrics. Power pop for the power flop™️.
